Eliyahu Elad

Eliyahu Elad Yana is a graphic designer and a PhD candidate in the Department of General History at Bar-Ilan University. His research focuses on the history and theory of graphic design, with a specific emphasis on the work and legacy of the Isotype group. He holds a B.Des in Visual Communication and an M.Des in Integrated Design from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT). A prominent figure in the Israeli design community, he served for seven years as the Editor-in-Chief of Israel’s leading online magazine for graphic design and typography, where he published numerous articles on design history. Currently, he lectures on the history of graphic design at three leading academic design institutions in Israel.
