Maja Riegler

Maja Riegler works at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction, design, data visualization, and strategic communication, with a focus on usability, user experience, and the visual communication of complex data. Trained as a visual communication designer, she is particularly interested in how data visualization supports sense-making, transparency, and informed decision-making in strategic contexts. Her previous research explored interaction design in relation to material cultures and ethnographic approaches. Maja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from the Bern University of the Arts and a Master’s degree in Design from the FHNW Academy of Art and Design in Basel.
