Mao Kudo

Mao Kudo is assistant professor at the Faculty of Design at Kyushu University, Japan and expert, ISO Technical Committee 145 (Graphical Symbols) and Subcommittees 1, 2 and 3. Holds teaching qualifications including a special needs school teaching license. After obtaining a degree in Design, worked as a research fellow before engaging in educational activities for children with intellectual disabilities. Based on these special needs educational experience, research graphic design of pictograms for diversity inclusion from the perspective of pictogram comprehension.
