Rodrigo Ramirez
Rodrigo Ramírez, is an Information Designer, Associate Professor at the School of Design (Diseño UC), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a researcher at the National Center for Integrated Research in Risk Management (CIGIDEN R+). PhD Candidate, UC Chile School of Communications. Board member of Design for Emergency Management (dnem.org) and co-designer at the Design for Emergencies initiative (d4emergency.org). His work focuses on information design for emergency management, specifically how visual systems can be applied to understand risks and foster community resilience. Lead designer of Guemil, an open-access icon system for emergencies.
