Sue Perks

Dr Sue Perks is designer, researcher and writer on Isotype, museums and design archives. Her current area of interest is the Henry Dreyfuss Symbol Sourcebook archive at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, in New York. Sue has an MA in Graphic Information from the Royal College of Art and a PhD from University of Reading exploring the legacy of the principles of Isotype. Her wide profile lecturing and external examining has run concurrently with design practice, research, academic writing and participation in international design conferences. In 2022 she co-founded The Symbol Group.
